Learn more about Taraki

Do you identify as a mental health advocate?

Do you work to amplify the experiences of those who struggle with their mental health? Do you stand up for others who may not always be heard? Do you try to make the world a safer space for those with mental health difficulties?

If yes, we invite you to join our monthly Community Spaces for an opportunity to connect with fellow advocates around the world, learn and share knowledge, and reflect on your experiences. We welcome anyone who would like to meet, connect with, and be supported by others in the field of mental health.

What can I expect?

This space is open and safe for anyone who would like to either listen or share, and people of all backgrounds are encouraged to join.

Sessions will provide opportunities to meet other advocates from around the world, discuss the common challenges we all face, and workshop solutions. The content will be directly informed by the input of our participants (YOU!) in understanding the problems that are most pressing for advocates and how we can come together to move forward.

The sessions will be facilitated by members of our mental health community who will guide us through introductions, discussions, and activities with the intention of bringing our community closer together.

When and where?

We will have two meeting options for each session, since we want people from across timezones to be able to join us. These meetings will happen monthly on Zoom, where sessions will last approximately 45-60 minutes. Depending on the needs of our participants, our sessions may include discussion sessions, problem-solving activities, panel debates, and guest speakers.
